Sliding Block Puzzles

by Serhiy Grabarchuk

This sliding block puzzle consists of seven tiles made as stylized letters which spell: TWO DOTS. Each tile can slide to an adjacent vacant space. Now your holiday challenge is to slide the tiles within the tray so that to exchange the Blue Dot with the Orange Dot and still have the tiles spelling TWO DOTS, as shown in the Goal diagram far above. How many moves will you need to accomplish the puzzle? Once you solve it, you will see a congratulation message.

To move a tile simply click it. Use "Undo" and "Redo" (or B and N keys, respectively) for the respective backward and forward moves of tiles within the tray in accordance with your solution. Once you solve the puzzle, or have some particular sequence of moves, you can use "Undo" and "Redo" to check all your moves. Also, you can switch Move Counter on to check the number of your moves along you solution. Use "Restart" (or R key) to start the puzzle over again.

Happy Puzzling and a Very Happy New Year!
